Chepstow Bypass

key_bypass.jpg

Local Lib Dems have long been campaigning for a bypass around Chepstow.  Already more traffic comes through Chepstow each day than came across the Severn Bridge when it first opened.

The Air Quality Monitoring station on Hardwick Hill records harmful levels of emissions on a regular basis.

Please join our campaign and sign the petition below.

We call on the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government to address the issue of congestion and poor air quality on the A48 through Chepstow. The current road structure is inadequate and with the addition of new housing estates in both Monmouthshire and the Forest of Dean the situation will deteriorate and prevent economic growth.
